LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock now has a new place to cool off this summer.

The Southwest Aqua Sports has two pools, now making it the largest facility in the region, according to the owners.

"It can be 110 outside, it can be 10 below and they can have warm clear water to swim in, to scuba in, to relax in, to get healthy in. I'm born and raised in Lubbock and this town means a lot to me. And I'm really proud to be able to offer something like this to my fellow Lubbockites."

The two indoor pools are for open swim, swim competition training, lessons, scuba training and therapy classes, too.

Southwest Aqua Sports is located at 3909 North Frankford Ave near Clovis Rd.
