Distracted Driving simulator at City Hall Thursday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock City Council members will join a distracted driving demonstration this Thursday.

The "It Can Wait Simulator" will be at city hall at 10:45 a.m.

It's an effort to bring awareness about the dangers of distracted driving and texting while driving.

The public is welcome to join in and drive the simulator after the presentation is finished.

You can stop by and try it for yourself at City Hall Thursday until 4:30 p.m.
