Traffic Alert: TxDOT closes right lane on N. Loop 289 at US 84 for sign installation

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled to close the right-lane mainlane and shoulder on north Loop 289 at US 84 on Wednesday, July 27, to allow work crews to safely install overhead guide signs. 

The closure is scheduled to begin mid-morning and continue throughout the afternoon.

The US 84 exit will also be closed to traffic during this time and west/southbound Loop 289 traffic will need to use the exit located near the Berl Huffman Athletic Complex to connect with US 84. 

The work will take place weather permitting.
