LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Littlefield man is behind bars, accused of trying to steal ribeye steaks from Walmart at 4215 S. Loop 289.

46-year-old Randy Marshall Simmons is being held on a $5,000 bond, charged with robbery.

The loss prevention officer told police that Simmons put several steaks in plastic bags and walked out without paying.

Loss prevention officers confronted Simmons outside and got the steaks back, but then they say he pushed one of them and ran off behind the store.

Officers found him in the women's bathroom at Mr. Car Wash nearby and placed him under arrest.

Walmart is turning over video to the police.
