The Lubbock Titans have had some great athletes over the years, but today was a first - the first Lubbock Titan to ever sign a college softball scholarship.
Makenna Greenlee signed her letter of intent to play college softball at Clarendon College.
The signing took place in front of family and friends, a victory after years of hard work and dedication.
Makenna says other titans paved the way for her signing today.
"It all started with other signings with Tess Bruffey, Hannah Harbin, Carly, and Kaci Thornton. I was always right there when their signings happened. Then I thought to myself, how amazing it would be if that was me. Especially in softball, because I would be the first ever in home school Titan history to sign. I mean it takes a lot of faith to believe that you can do it, and I am here I can almost not believe it. But, it is right here in front of me so I am so thankful and blessed," Makenna Greenlee said.
