Lubbock police investigating Lucky Mart robbery

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery at a Lubbock Lucky Mart Friday afternoon.

According to police, two men entered the Lucky Mart at 2012 N Ash Ave. with t-shirts around their faces at approximately 4:30 p.m on Friday.

Police say the suspects showed their handguns and demanded the clerk empty the register. Once the register was emptied, the subjects fled the rear of the store by foot, where they were then picked up in a blue passenger car. The clerk was not injured. 

The suspects are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 30.
