Lubbock bomb squad called to Littlefield after possible WWII grenade found

LITTLEFIELD, TX (KCBD) -

Some residents near Littlefield had a scare Saturday night after someone found what was thought to be a World War II grenade.

The Lubbock bomb squad was called to the scene and cleared the scene.

The Lamb County Sheriff's Office said the possible grenade was found in a basement.
