Mayor declares Law Enforcement Appreciation Night

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The city of Lubbock is joining with local community banks and United Supermarkets to host Law Enforcement Appreciation night this Wednesday.

City leaders announced this first-ever event on Monday morning.

Law Enforcement Appreciation Night will be at the Buddy Holly Recreational Area Pavilion at North University and Cesar Chavez Drive from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

There will be hot dogs and ice cream plus a chance for people to meet and interact with local police officers.
