The Klondike Cougars finished up last season 8-3, making it to the pigskin playoffs. But now, they have a new coach in Chad Myers as he moves up to take over the program.
“I was our head basketball coach last year, and like you said they know me and they are used to me. I brought some different things in, they are enjoying it. That’s the big thing is that they are enjoying it, and they are excited and they want to win,” says Chad Myers.
With 2-starters returning on both sides of the ball, Klondike gets a good measuring stick with their early games.
“We go to Borden County for the Borden County classic, and after that I believe we have Dawson, Grand Falls, and Water Valley is in there it’s a schedule that will test us,” says Myers.
In a very tough district the Cougars will compete for one of the playoff spots.
