Noon Notebook 8/2: Essential Home Health offering free blood pressure checks

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Essential Home Health will provide free blood pressure checks at its 8th annual Community Appreciation Day. 

The event will take place on Thursday, August 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2501 Baylor Street, Suite 100.

There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers along with games, prizes, face painting and fun for the whole family.

Multiple vendors will provide information on community services. 

The blood pressure checks are part of the many free community wellness checks Essential Home Health provides throughout the year at churches.

They visit Our Lady of Grace in Lubbock on the second Tuesday of every month. That is located at 3111 Erskine Street.

On the third Tuesday of every month, they visit St. Joseph Catholic Church at 102 North Avenue P in Lubbock.

On the third Wednesday of every month, the provide blood pressure checks at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 1120 52nd Street.

On the last Thursday of the month, they visit Our Lady of Guadalupe in Slaton. That church is located at 635 South 4th Street.
