AMBER ALERT canceled for 3-year-old NM girl

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An AMBER Alert issued for 3-year-old Merleah Guinn, of Santa Rosa, New Mexico has been canceled. The New Mexico State Police say the child was found and was safe.

Guinn is a Native American female, about three feet tall and weighs 28 lbs.

New Mexico State Police say Guinn was abducted from her home sometime Monday night by an unknown person.

She was last seen wearing "Minnie Mouse" underwear. 

Guinn was believed to be in danger.

State Police say this is an ongoing investigation and more details will be released when they are available.
