Amarillo Firefighter To Be Buried In Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An Amarillo Fire Fighter will be returned to Lubbock for his burial. Brian Hunton suffered severe head injuries Saturday when he fell from a fire truck en route to a house fire.

Fellow firefighters say Hunton was putting on his gear when the truck took a sharp turn, sending Hunton to the pavement. The 24-year-old died Monday morning. Hunton was a Lubbock native and graduate of Lubbock Cooper High School.

He served on the Lubbock Fire Department for two months.
