Audit At Lubbock Business Leads To Three Theft Indictments

One Lubbock business will soon be at the center of a theft trial.

WorkSource of the South Plains pays for childcare to allow low-income parents to go to work or school. According to a police report, three sisters lied on their application to receive more than $20,000 in assistance.

Tuesday, a Lubbock grand jury indicted Pamela Bible, Dorothy Lee, and Brenda Smith on one count of theft each.
