After an historic 4-8 season where they won a playoff game for the first time ever, the Plainview Christian Eagles soar into a season of high hopes under Coach Lucas Hall.
"I think everyone is pretty excited maybe a little nervous having to full some big shoes, but overall they're ready."
Getting some early tests from UIL public schools, the Eagles should be ready for their TAPPS district with Amarillo Holy Cross, EP Jesus. Wichita Christian and Wichita Falls Notre Dame. Always playing early afternoon games, that could be changing for the Eagles.
"We had someone that donated lights for the field. As of right now on the schedule it says 5 p.m. If we can have the lights up. We're supposed to have them up before the first home game which is September 8th or 9th. I'm really hoping we can have some Friday Night lights instead of Thursday afternoons."
