LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock City Council will consider a resolution to purchase two snow plows next Thursday.

According to the council agenda, the cost of the snow plows will be $169,676.74 each. The vehicles will be purchased through the city's Vehicle Debt Financing program, and will replace older trucks in the city's fleet.

We've attached a picture of a similar 2016 model snow plow. The city is considering 2017 Freightliner trucks with reversible snow plows.
