Councilwoman Shelia Patterson-Harris to hold community meeting

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Shelia Patterson-Harris, who won the District 2 City Council runoff election on June 25th, will host her first community meeting on Monday.

The event will be at Mae Simmons Community Center and will start at 6 p.m.

Councilwoman Patterson-Harris says she is eager to meet her constituents and is always inviting the community join her.

She says it will be the first of many meetings.

    A Brownfield man has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges after a wrong-way hit-and-run crash were stolen guns were recovered. The hit-and-run crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. on February 22, 2017 near 130th Street and Indiana Ave.
