After an unacceptable 6-5 season, the Farwell Steers return five back on both sides of the ball.
Coach Daniel Brittain feels that experience will pay off this year.
“6-5 record we talked about it all year. That’s not what we want in Farwell. We ended up with 11 major injuries that we lost kids for the entire season last year. A lot of young kids got experience. They didn’t know they would step up. We won a playoff game with freshman and sophomores."
Farwell is the favorite in District 3 of 2A Division 2 but will face competition from SpringLake-Earth, Morton, Smyer, Bovina and Sudan.
