114th Street and University Ave. road closed until Sept. 14

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Phase 2 construction has begun for the south Lubbock sanitary sewer main extension, and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area of 114th Street and University Avenue.

The construction begins on Wednesday, Aug. 10 and will continue until Sept. 14.

The construction will restrict access for traffic from 109th Street to 114th Street

The intersection of 114th Street and University Ave. will be closed until Sept. 14.
