LPD searching for accused credit card thief

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officers with the Lubbock Police Department need the public's help in identifying a man accused of stealing a credit card out of a vehicle and using it at multiple locations.

According to police reports, the victim's vehicle was parked in his driveway on July 19. He noticed his front passenger door and the rear door hatch was open. The victim reported a Walmart credit card was missing from the door pocket.

On July 20, the victim's credit card was used at Stripes at 533 N. Frankford and also at Walmart on the West Loop.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect using the credit card.

Anyone with information on this crime or the identity of the suspect is urged to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
