The Lockney Longhorns finished up 2015 with a record of 5-6, making it all the way to the pigskin playoffs.
“It’s time, and every time this time of the year comes around its always exciting. The kids are ready to go and the town is excited, and the expectations have gone up. When you make the playoffs for the first time in 10-years, it’s time for us to step up and improve on that,” says Lockney head coach Jay Ragland.
The Longhorns look to battle for another post season spot in 2016.
“We have a tough district, and we will definitely have to be ready to go. We definitely want one of the four, you got to win 2-games to get in. So two is the goal but we want to get as many as we can get,” Ragland said.
