Police search for armed robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officials with the Lubbock Police Department are searching for a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery that happened on Monday, Aug. 8 at Subway Restaurant on 19th Street.

Officers responded to the robbery just after 7 p.m.

Police reports state an employee was exiting the restroom when he was confronted by the suspect. The suspect put a gun in the victim's face and walked him to the register. The victim complied and gave the suspect the cash in the register. The suspect left the scene and police say no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’00", 185-200 lbs. He was wearing all black clothing, and blue latex gloves.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with information about this case to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
