The Tulia Hornets struggled in 2015, going 0-10 on the season, but there is a new enthusiasm in the program as former Red Raider Duane Toliver takes over.
"It’s really exciting. I have been able to get some kids out that haven't been out. The people in town are just excited to build a winning program," said Hornet head coach Duane Toliver.
The Hornets look to battle for the top spot in district play this season.
"Our number one goal in our first year in Tulia is that we want to be in the playoffs, and we want to get the tradition rolling," Toliver said.
