LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh is kicking off at the C.A.T.S. Playhouse in Lubbock on Friday.

Winnie-the-Pooh is Christopher Robin's little "bear of very little brain" who would like to drift peacefully through life, humming tunes and stopping frequently to eat "a little something."

However, he finds himself involved in all sorts of frantic adventures with his friends Eeyore, Piglet and Rabbit.

Pat Price is directing the production and says many of the cast members are children ranging in age from 8-years-old to 16-years-old.

Adults help round out the crew.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors, students and children.

Catch Winnie-the-Pooh on August 19 & 20, 26 & 27, September 2 & 3.

All shows start at 7:30 p.m.

The C.A.T.S. Playhouse is located at 22257 34th Street in Lubbock.
