Police: Disturbance leads to death in Floydada

FLOYDADA, TX (KCBD) -

Officers with the Floydada Police Department are investigating a disturbance that resulted in the death of one person.

The disturbance happened Tuesday, Aug. 16 in Floydada.

According to officials, no other information is immediately available, but says details will be released at the appropriate time.

The identity of the person who died, the cause and manner of death are unknown.

    The crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian happened just before 8 p.m. near 50th and Ave. V. Officials say the pedestrian, who was crossing 50th Street, was hit by a motorcycle. The pedestrian died at the scene. The pedestrian has been identified by police as 33-year-old Quisha Rotay Cook.
