Police asking for public help as search continues for missing woman

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The search for answers continues after a 67-year-old woman went missing from her home on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Authorities say Linda Gail Wilhite  is now considered missing and endangered. She was last seen on Tuesday at her West Lubbock home in the 6100 block of 38th Street.

Investigators found blood in her home and noticed her medication was still there, which is something family members say she would never leave behind. Authorities say they also found evidence that would possible indicate foul play. Her family says she suffers from multiple health issues.

Her vehicle was located on Thursday, Aug. 18 in the area of 81st Street and Cedar Ave.  Detectives believe that Mrs. Wilhite is in grave danger. They are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.

Anyone who may have seen her or her vehicle, a tan 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, anytime between Monday, Aug. 15 and Thursday, Aug. 18 to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
