Lubbock Police End Standoff Peacefully - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A 23-year-old Lubbock man is in custody after forcing a standoff with police. It happened around 11 Thursday night at an apartment complex in the 3100 Block of Salisbury.

The man said he had a gun and would shoot anyone that came through the door. He would not let his wife or children leave.

Police negotiated with him for an hour and a half before the suspect released his family.
