On Friday, the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and the Women's Advocacy Program launched its 'Pro Se Sexual Assault Protective Order Packet', which helps victims get a restraining order without an attorney.
"Pro Se means that someone can now come into a courtroom without the assistance of an attorney and request a protective order if he or she has been sexually assaulted," said Chris Lippincott, from the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault
You can call the Rape Crisis Center for help on filling out the sexual assault packet at 763-3232 or download the packet by clicking here .
