Police Say Medical Condition Caused Man To Crash Into Pole

Lubbock Police say a Diabetic episode caused a Lubbock driver to crash into a pole. It happened around 10:30 Friday morning at the intersection of 34th and Avenue P.

Thirty-seven year-old Rudy Joe Barron was driving East on 34th Street when he drifted into the Westbound lanes and slammed into a utility pole. He is being treated for moderate injuries at University Medical Center.
