August 24th is National Waffle Day and Slim Chickens is ready to celebrate with their Texas shaped waffles.

At Slim Chickens you can even pair your waffle with fried chicken.

Chris Wilson, who owns both Slim Chickens locations in Lubbock, said the company will be offering chicken and waffles at a discounted price on National Waffle Day.

They are located at 4509 98th and 5508 4th Street.
