Walk Like MADD event at Lubbock County Courthouse, Sept. 10

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be hosting their Walk Like MADD event on Saturday, Sept. 10.

"You can help MADD eliminate drunk driving by signing up for a Walk Like MADD event near you as a walker, team captain, or volunteer. You can even be involved without attending the event by signing up as a virtual walker or making a donation to another walker or team."

The walk will begin at the Lubbock County Courthouse at 904 Broadway at 10:15 a.m.

Sustained winds at 20-30 mph, warm temperatures and low relative humidity values will create an elevated to critical fire weather risk for our area. A cold front will move through our area late tonight, shifting winds out of the north. Monday morning will be cool and breezy.
