LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Adult Protective Services in Lubbock needs your help. They are almost out of items to give to abused, neglected and exploited seniors in need.

APS relies on the community to help provide these essentials to their clients.

They need everything from non-perishable food items to personal care products for their Silver Star room.

Aps Community Engagement Specialist Wendi Edwards says "We're also pretty low on our laundry soap, our dishwashing liquid, also toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner - just all those toiletry items that we kind of take for granted that we can just run in the store and buy, but someone on a fixed income may not be as lucky."

You can drop off your donations at the APS office on 69th Street in Suite B behind Chuy's.
