LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

They met five years ago at the fair, and he knew then she had to be his girl. Joseph Rios worked two jobs, had secret practices and admittedly lied to Kristie Ann Lopez to make sure this was a perfect moment in their lives together.

They were high schools sweethearts since Joseph's freshman year. Five years later, Joseph decided to pop the question.

It was all set up for Aug. 19, and it seems Kristie was completely surprised! She and Joseph both work at Altitude Trampoline Park in Lubbock.

Take a look at the video to see their story. Video shot and edited by Ryan Swift-Foot Enriquez.
