LPD offering reward for information on missing woman, believed to have suffered serious injury

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are offering a reward of $2,000 for information leading to the recovery of 67-year-old Linda Gail Wilhite, missing since Tuesday, Aug. 16.

They issued this statement on Friday:

Due to the circumstances surrounding the case, we believe that Ms. Wilhite may have sustained a serious injury.

Additionally, the lack of cooperation by certain family members at this point of the investigation has resulted in the need for community assistance.

Two thousand dollars ($2,000) of Crime Line money has been approved for information that leads to the recovery of Ms. Wilhite.
