Fire marshal believes someone broke into North Lubbock home, intentionally set fire

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock fire officials are investigating a fire at a home in the 300 block of Avenue S that happened around 1:20 a.m. Monday.

When firefighters arrived, they found one room on fire. Firefighters were able to put the fire out within a few minutes.

No residents were at the home at the time of the fire.

Fire marshals believe someone broke into the house and set it on fire. A family of three has been displaced.
