Public Forums Set To Discuss Funding For Marsha Sharp Freeway - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Your first chance to voice your opinion on a toll road in Lubbock will be next Tuesday.

The Lubbock Metropolitan Planning Organization and TXDOT are hosting a series of public forums. There they will present funding options for projects like the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Thhe meeting schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, May 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the Hutchinson Junior High Cafeteria, located at 31st and Canton.
• Thursday, May 12th at 6:30 p.m. in the Estacado High School auditorium, located at MLK and East Itasca.
• Tuesday, May 24th at: 7:00 p.m., at Crestview Elementary, located at 81st and Huron.

Citizens with special communications or accommodations needs are encouraged to contact TXDOT at (806) 748-4490. Requests should be made at least 72 hours prior to the public meeting.
