Lubbock Woman Sentenced To 10 Years For Husband's Death

A Lubbock woman will spend ten years in prison for killing her husband.

A Lubbock judge handed down the sentence Monday, just minutes after Rose Barrera entered a guilty plea to manslaughter. Barrera doused her husband Antonio with gasoline and set him on fire.

The incident happened August 31st, 2002 during a domestic dispute at their home, in the 2000 Block of 10th street.
