Police continue to actively search for a missing Littlefield woman.

Around 4pm Monday, Garza County authorities discovered 49-year-old Sharla Lowery's Oldsmobile at Lake Alan Henry. Shortly after the discovery of her vehicle, the Lubbock Police Department sent its canine team to the lake to help with the ground search. Around 7:30pm Monday evening, the Lubbock dive team arrived.

Police say when Lowery's vehicle was found, her body wasn't inside. They believe her body could be in the lake. At this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected.

Lowery was last seen Saturday, April 30th, when she had dinner with her parents in Lubbock. Monday, May 2nd, her parents reported her missing after co-workers said she failed to report to work. Police continued their search for Lowery throughout the night at Lake Alan Henry.

If you have any information that could help, you are urged to contact the Littlefield Police Department at 385-5161.
