LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are just four days away from their first home game of the season.

The Texas Tech Athletics Department says they've sold the second most season tickets in program history.

Texas Tech Senior Associate Athletics Director, Robert Giovannetti, tells us about 35,000 season tickets have been sold, including 224 additional premium seats that are under construction right now.

For this Saturday's game against SFA, Giovannetti says they're expecting about 55,000 fans to fill up the Jones AT&T stadium.

"Now they can click on the Texas Tech Pass, right there on the spot," he says. "If people turn in their tickets late, or there are some openings that we didn't anticipate to be able to sell them right there, on the spot. We think it's a great experience."

You can fill out your information at TexasTechPass.com to make sure you're signed up for any alerts so you can take advantage of open seats that become available.
