Criminal Mischief Leads To Assault On Peace Officer - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A sheriff's deputy is recovering following an incident in Anton.

Hockley County authorities tell NewsChannel 11 that officers found a group of vandals doing criminal mischief near a school, Friday night. One of the suspects pulled a knife as a deputy tackled him. That deputy was treated for cuts.

On Tuesday the suspect was charged with assault on a peace officer.
