Joiner Brothers Remembered Today

A rare disease took the lives of two Lubbock brothers last year.

Two-year-old Ross and 8-year-old Trevor Joiner were rushed to Duke University Medical Center for stem cell transplants. But both boys suffered complications after the procedures and later died.

Wednesday, students at Cooper South Elementary shared stories of remembrance about their friend Trevor and planted a tree in his memory outside the school.
