Two injured in shooting on East 29th Street

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Two people were shot at a home in the 2200 block of East 29th Street just after 4 a.m. Thursday.

The police report says the shooter tore down the air conditioning unit on the home and opened fire, striking two people asleep on the living room couch.

One of the victims returned fire, but police aren't sure if the suspect was injured. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No names have been released and no arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.
