Tejano Democrats of Lubbock to host Latinos for Hillary event

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Tejano Democrats of Lubbock will host a Latinos for Hillary event Friday, September 9 at 602 Broadway from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those attending will include elected officials and speakers including former United States Senator Bob Krueger and Dr. Miguel Levario from Texas Tech University whose recent book, Militarizing the Border: When Mexicans Became the Enemy explains current tensions and controversy over immigration and law enforcement issues centered on the US-Mexico border.

Hillary Clinton t-shirts will be sold at this event for $16. You can get a t-shirt, button, yard sign and bumper sticker for $20.

A taco truck will be available as well.
