Lubbock Educators Can Now Take Part In Teacher's Supply Closet

Teachers spend an average of $458 out of their own pockets for classroom supplies and materials, but a new program at the South Plains Mall is helping to off-set those expenses.

Beginning May 1st, shoppers and educators can take part in the "Teachers' Supply Closet." Shoppers can purchase gift cards for teachers to use when buying supplies. They can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, and teachers may register at guest services to receive a complimentary educators discount card.

For more information go to guest services at the South Plains Mall.
