Joint operation seizes 61 pounds of narcotics from Lubbock homes

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, and officers from the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office seized 61 pounds of narcotics, $38,000 in cash, two vehicles, three boats, two motorcycles and one jet ski on Wednesday, Sept. 7, after serving a variety of narcotics-related search warrants.

They say the investigation began about a year ago and the search warrants were executed at three addresses around Lubbock: 8424 Wayne Ave., 5020 50th St. #120, and 6553 92nd St.

 28-year-old Esteban Garcia was arrested and taken into custody by federal authorities pursuant to a federal arrest warrant from the Western District of Texas, El Paso Division.
