LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock man could face jail time after he was indicted, charged with a hit and run DWI, on Tuesday.

Police say James Edwards struck a woman's car back on March 13th at the intersection of 50th and Quaker.

Police say Edwards drove away from the scene of that crash, but thankfully a nurse came and helped out at the scene.

Edwards was arrested a short time later.

He has two previous DWI convictions, but is out of jail on a $20,000 bond.
