LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A man is behind bars after reportedly firing shots inside his apartment unit at the Westridge Apartments in the 1600 block of Elkhart Avenue.

Police responded to a report of possible shots fired by an intoxicated person around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Several witnesses say that 20-year-old Bradly Walker fired at least one shot inside his apartment.

While at the scene and attempting to make contact with Walker, another shot was heard by officers. Officers where in the process of evacuating neighboring apartments when Walker was spotted looking out of a window.

Officers were able to convince him to come out of his apartment unarmed and he was safely taken into custody.

Walker was charged with deadly conduct and discharging a firearm inside city limits.
