It's a bike ride through stunning Blanco Canyon and wind farms. Dr. Steve Alley, whose wife is a breast cancer survivor, founded the Tour De Rio Blanco four years ago.

The proceeds from the ride benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

The ride will take place on September 24.

There will be three routes this year: 100 K, 36 miles, and 10 miles. Pre-registration is $30, while on-site registration is $35. Pre-registration is open through September 19.

On-site registration will be held the day of the race from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the Pioneer Farm and Ranch Museum.

Cash or check will be accepted the day of the ride.

The start line for all rides is located at the Pioneer Farm and Ranch Museum, which is located at Aspen Street, just south of Highway 82 in Crosbyton.
