STAR ER will be open to the public beginning Friday, September 16, 2016, at 7007 Indiana Ave. in Lubbock, to kick off their grand opening.

The team will host an Open House and Public Safety Appreciation Night at STAR ER on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

The event is aimed to the care of the community and to honor those who protect it. It will include local food trucks, a tour of the facilities and emergency vehicles, an appearance from the Masked Rider, and a drawing to win tickets to a Texas Tech football game.

STAR ER is an emergency care center dedicated to bringing personal and quick emergency medical attention to Lubbock and the surrounding area, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Locally owned and operated by a team of four including Bryson Bowman, M.D., Ryan Lewis, M.D., FACEP, Jon Skelton, M.D., and Zach Weatherford, M.D., the owners love Lubbock and its citizens and want to provide quality emergency care.

STAR ER will be Lubbock's first and only emergency care center that is solely staffed by physicians that are residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine.
