Hale Center ISD holding meetings ahead of Tax Ratification Election, Oct. 11

Hale Center Independent School District has adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate.

The tax rate will effectively be raised by 12.5 percent and will raise taxes for Maintenance and Operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $130.00.

The Tax Ratification Election to be held Oct. 11.

We will be having the following informational meetings about the Tax Ratification Election:

Monday, September 19, 2016 – 7 p.m. at Carr Middle School Library

Tuesday, September 20, 2016 – 11:45 a.m. at Lion's Club, Owl Cafe

Tuesday, September 20, 2016 – 7 p.m. at Computer Orientation Meeting, HS Library

Wednesday, September 21, 2016 – 12 p.m. at Senior Citizen's, Senior Citizen Center

Monday, October 3, 2016 – 7 p.m. at Athletic Booster Club, HS Commons
