LPD: Robbery suspect impersonates police officer, handcuffs woman

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are searching for a suspect who impersonated a police officer, handcuffed a woman and robbed a game room.

It happened just after 2:15 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of Avenue A.

Police say a man walked into the game room wearing a black polo shirt, khaki pants and black boots. He was wearing holster with a black pistol in it.

The man told a woman working in the game room that he was a police officer. When she asked to see his badge, he handcuffed her and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect ran away from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old with sleeve tattoos.
